Good nutrition is the foundation of lasting health. By choosing foods that fuel your body, you can boost energy, prevent illness, and feel your best every day.
The Boonville Farmers Market POP Program helps kids make healthier food choices by encouraging them to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
Each child receives two $1 tokens per market visit, for a total of $2 per child, per market. These tokens may be used only for fresh fruits and vegetables and can be spent with any market vendor selling fresh produce.
Tokens do not have to be used on the same day they are earned. Kids are welcome to save their tokens and use them later in the season for their favorite fruits and vegetables.
This program is designed to help children learn, explore, and enjoy making healthy food choices at the farmers market.
